Set near the picturesque village of Enniskerry, Brook Cottage is the perfect place for a relaxing get-away. Our quiet guesthouse is located approximately one hour from Dublin city and near to a host of wonderful places to visit and things to do. Many of our guests are taking a break from the spectacular Wicklow Way to visit Powerscourt Estate or other local sights.
Brook Cottage was originally built for workers on the Powerscourt Estate. The house has now been adapted to cater as a Bed and Breakfast, with all the bedrooms having ensuite bathrooms..
Set in spectacular surroundings, there is a magnificent panorama of Djouce, Maulin, the Tonduffs and Knockree. Guests are invited to sit out on the deck area and bask in the beauty of it all.
Brook Cottage is convenient to the Wicklow Way, and lies roughly half-way between the trail and Enniskerry. A courtesy lift is offered to weary walkers to pick them up from the trail and to drop them in the village to enjoy an evening meal.
A second day here will allow time to visit other top Wicklow visitor attractions, including Powerscourt House and Gardens, Johnnie Fox's Pub, Powerscourt Waterfall, Glendalough, the Glencree Reconciliation Centre and Ireland's World War II German Cemetry.
Guests wishing to stay longer can avail of the self-catering studio apartment to use as a base for exploring the region more thoroughly.
